In 2006, the Yume brand was born in Park Grove Cardiff. Since then, the Hair and Beauty Teams have been overwhelmed with more and more fabulous guests who enjoy the Yume experience, and keep coming back for more. Salon owners, management, and artistic teams share an ethos of high standards for our guests. Each team member has a rich blend of individual hairdressing skills, business skills, and creative innovation.
Husband and wife team and salon owners Tristan & Giovanna are always on the lookout for new business ventures. In 2015 they found, built, and invested in Yume Hair and Beauty - Yume - The Rhydypenau Salon, in the heart of their much-loved neighbourhood. Guests love to pop in straight from the morning school run to relax and unwind for the day ahead, and also bring the children in after school to keep the whole family looking super smart. Late night Thursday is especially popular for after-work colour appointments. Situated near Heath train station and local schools, Cardiff High, Rhydypenau, and Lakeside, and a short walk from Roath Park Lake. This salon also has ample free roadside parking. In 2017 Giovanna and Tristan opened Yume - The Cathays Salon at Cardiff University Student Union. Students, Academics and the Local community have welcomed the professional, friendly Hair & Beauty Teams to the exciting and busy Student Union building, Cardiff. Here at the heart of student village, guests enjoy Yume’s unique blend of creative expertise and professionalism at a student-discounted price. Cardiff shoppers and office workers, as well as students, love the convenient City Centre location - Main entrance of the student Union building - Senghennydd Road.
